Don't Give Up - Your Blessing's Only Inches Away!
Happy Thursday everyone. I pray your day is going GREAT so far.
So today, I want to encourage my friends to NOT GIVE UP! That's why I'm smiling and laughing at the enemy because I, TOO, recently had to encourage myself to not give up. Guess what y'all. I didn't get the BLUE screen on my computer this time. For those who have visited my author website may have read in my Frequently Asked Questions section where I mentioned the cursor in my laptop just grew a mind of its own and kept jumping around and not staying in the sentence I was typing at the moment. Really? The enemy took it to a whole new level...this time my personal computer BLEW UP. The battery is damaged beyond repair. Thankfully, I save my manuscript edits (when I'm writing) like every so many minutes AND I save my work on a thumb drive...AND I take other steps to ensure I don't lose my work. I won't bore you with the details, but here's what I'll leave you with today:
Some of you may be familiar with it or have probably seen this meme floating around social media. The one that came across my Facebook newsfeed was illustrated by David McElroy. It's a picture of a cartoon character which appears to be in a mine perhaps digging for gold or diamonds. He's probably inches away from his goals, but instead of continuing his mission...continuing to dig, he turns around and he gives up.
One of my favorite scriptures in the bible that encourages us to not give up is: Galatians 6:9 - And let us not be weary in well doing: For in due season we shall reap if we faint not.
Someone's due season is CLOSE.
Don't give up.
