Paint The Best Picture of Jesus!

Paint the Best Picture of Jesus

So today I wanted to share my experience this morning at my car dealership service department.  It was for something minor; so rather than taking a loaner vehicle, I decided I would just sit and wait for a bit.  When I arrived this morning, I was greeted at the door by a nice young lady.  Before she could even get me through the doors good, an assistant service manager was approaching me, holding the door.  He escorted me in and showed me over to the customer waiting…

Don't Give Up - Your Blessing's Only Inches Away!

Don't Give Up - Your Blessing's Only Inches Away!

Happy Thursday everyone.  I pray your day is going GREAT so far.

So today, I want to encourage my friends to NOT GIVE UP!  That's why I'm smiling and laughing at the enemy because I, TOO, recently had to encourage myself to not give up.  Guess what y'all.  I didn't get the BLUE screen on my computer this time.  For those who have visited my author website may have read in my Frequently Asked Questions section where I mentioned the cursor in my laptop…

The Time Thief

The Time Thief

Some of you may be wondering where I got the idea for the image this time.  A hamster running in a wheel?  Really?  I know it’s funny right? Probably wondering seriously where I’m going with all of this.

What I’ve learned about these little furry guys is they actually adore these wheels.  They’re born to run and they enjoy it – plain and simple.  However, without knowing this information about the hamsters, I’d be left to assume this small animal is working overtime.  He’s running in…

That’s it. I’ve had enough of this mess. I’m gone.

You may be wondering where I got the idea for the image I included at the top of today’s blog.  The image symbolizes people moving out.  Getting tired and moving on, out of frustration from dealing with other people - in many cases, difficult people.

About four years ago, my husband and I decided to explore one of my craziest ideas ever – we hired a live-in nanny.  We chose one of those United States Department of State sponsored programs, so we were confident everything was legit.

I will be the…

No! Not my brand new car!

About a year and a half ago, my husband and I decided it was time to get me a new car.  We conducted all the research on different options and after a few months of going back and forth, we decided on the type of car I would get.  And no, it's not a Mercedes Benz.  I just thought this was a really cool image to add to make the blog post more colorful :-).  But the car we chose was really nice and pretty much does everything except drive itself.  At least in my mind.  I just knew I had it all going…

What do you mean the blessing is in the chaos?

A few months back, my husband and I were having some construction-type work done to our home and someone had to be there to give the contractors access to the house.  I'll never forget this.  It was a Monday and my husband was in a class that entire week, which means I had to be home.  Originally, it was only supposed to be a day.  Then the one day morphed into two days and two days turned into a third day.  I didn't complain one bit, because as far as I was concerned this would be an opportunity for me…
